Young children are always demanding and they often give tough time to their parents, and hardly let them work in their presence. Setting up Proper Timings

Try to maintain a proper professional atmosphere at your home. Determining your working hours will help you maintain a suitable business routine that will help your clients as well as your colleagues to reach you. Working at home helps you not to publicize your office hours, until you are committed to some conference or meeting.

Analyze your situation and set timings accordingly. For example your children’s school time is the best time to work. While children are at school you can avail the advantage of those empty hours. Rest of the time you can manage in the evenings, late nights or early mornings while your kids are asleep.

Setting up proper space

Apart from a proper time schedule and working hours, you also need to set an appropriate space for working. Your surroundings do impart an important effect at your work. You should figure out a quiet and calm corner of your house so that you may organize your files, computer and other accessories. In order to increase your productivity, make sure that your work space is accessible to a limited number of people. Also if you are working on computer then maintain a backed up data for all your files, to avoid tension if in case your system is reached by your kids.  

Manage a space according to the demand of your work. Sometimes you need an area quiet and away from disturbance, then you should use a separate room with a door, apart from your bedroom. A closed door will let your children know that your are working, and they will avoid disturbing.

Ask for help

In case your children are too young to go to school, and are totally dependant on you, then its better that you may ask a lending hand from your spouse. Work in those hours when your partner is able to look after the kids. You can manage hours for taking care of the children. It will also help you to spend some quality time with your children as well. To hire a maid or a helper who could look after the children is also a good option. This will enable you to work comfortably. The maid can prepare meals for children and keep them involved in games while you are away.
